Pamplona is the capital of the Autonomous Community of Navarra.

Name: Pamplona (Spanish), Iruña (Basque).

It occupies a central location on the map of Navarra. It is bordered to the north by Berrioplano, Berriozar and Ansoain, to the east by Villava, Burlada, Egüés valley and Aranguren, to the south by the village of Galar, the village of Cizur and Zizur Mayor and to the west by Barañáin, the village of Olza and Orcoyen.
